Dead Burned Magnesium

Dead Burned Magnesia (DBM) is produced by calcining magnesite at temperatures around 1800°C, resulting in high-purity magnesium oxide with a dense crystalline structure. It offers excellent refractoriness, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance. DBM is widely used in the metallurgical industry for manufacturing magnesia bricks, magnesia-chrome bricks, fused magnesia, and other refractory products. It is suitable for linings of medium and high-frequency electric arc furnaces used in smelting alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, and precious metals, and can also serve as a high-temperature electrical insulation material.
